We have an opening for a NIGHT SHIFT Maintenance Technician at our nVent Greenville, PA facility (formerly ILSCO Extrusions), that specializes in extruded and fabricated aluminum componentry for intercompany use and external third-party customers. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work with both Engineering and Maintenance on project related assignments.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
· You will perform equipment and facility installation and repair work for our nVent Greenville campus
· You will be responsible for ongoing facility maintenance, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and coordinating major repairs with the building’s inhabitants
YOU HAVE:
· A high school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to trade school or associate degree background in industrial maintenance
· Previous experience in industrial maintenance, with preference provided for previous industrial maintenance technician/maintenance mechanic experience within the aluminum extrusion industry
· Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and combustion, including hydraulic valves, pumps and motors, electrical circuit detection and repair, welding, pneumatic cylinders, relays, switches, and preventative maintenance techniques
· The ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and PLC programs
· Good knowledge of systems and processes
· The ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of the position, including routine lifting in an industrial manufacturing facility
