POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Support Intern is responsible for the assisting in execution of lead management, database maintenance, sales support, administrative support, CRM execution and customer data management for marketing.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order Management:
- Work with Sales Professionals on Spec Development for all new equipment orders.
- QSI order specs are written up by the Inside Sales Team
- ETO order specs are written up by the Sales Professionals
- Send new equipment order specs to Applications for budgeting.
- Send new equipment order specs to Engineering and Production for scheduling.
- Manage change orders, pricing, and order write-up during life of order.
- Database Management:
- Supports Sales Territories, customer and contact data Salesforce.
- Supports data clean-up for lead generation activities.
- Lead Program:
- Handle incoming leads (phone, web, tradeshows, etc.). Speak to potential customers by phone and/or email to better qualify the lead and to determine project details.
- Enter leads into Salesforce and assign to appropriate Sales Professional.
- Review open opportunities within Salesforce for activity by Sales Professional and/or Distributor.
- Process Optimization: Assist in designing, implementing, and managing sales processes, workflows, and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Data Management and Analytics: sales data, generating reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing insights to drive sales performance and lead generation.
- Sales Training: assist in developing training programs, creating sales playbooks, and ensuring the sales team has the resources and tools they need to be successful.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: ability to successfully partner with Marketing, Finance, Product Management and IT to align sales operations with the overall business objectives.
- Technology Management: optimizing the CRM (Salesforce) systems, sales automation tools and other sales technology platforms.
- Sales Data Integrity: Ensuring data quality and accuracy across all sales systems and processes.
- Travel as needed to key customers and channel partners to assess our value creation within our target markets and segments.
- Serve as adjacent interface with customers, sales, engineering, and operations to resolve issues.
- Support sales with customer visits and presentations.
- Prepare and present progress reports, schedule updates, project reviews and performance reports.
- Assist Sales Professionals with installation reports, entering quotes into Salesforce.
- Assist Sales Leadership with Job Cost and Sales Activity reports.
- Assist in coordinating specific sales related events at nVenia.
- Work with Planning and Scheduling to provide Lead Times for quoted projects to Sales Professionals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT |

The position is an office-based position with visits to the manufacturing area. In the manufacturing area, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and may occasionally be exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but at times loud.
