Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals in a veterinary setting, assisting veterinarians in various procedures, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animal physiology and veterinary terminology, along with hands-on experience in animal handling and care while practicing fear-free techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes to the veterinarian.
- Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia administration and catheter placement.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Provide education to pet owners on proper care and treatment plans.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
- Handle animals safely using appropriate restraint techniques.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary terminology.
- Proficiency in animal catheterization and restraint techniques.
- Experience with dog handling and general pet care practices.
- Familiarity with dental terminology related to veterinary practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Veterinary clinic: 1 years (Required)
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT/CVT/LVT): Strongly Preferred
