Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT)

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team at Governors Avenue Animal Hospital.

Responsibilities of the Veterinary Technologist include, but are not limited to:

Obtaining an accurate history from the clients about the patient

Researching the previous medical history of the patient

Presenting the information and findings to the Veterinarian Physician in a clear and understandable format

Assisting during visits, routine procedures, dental, and surgeries.

Follow Veterinarian Physician instructions

Administering medications

Performing radiological studies

Performing laboratory testing

Entering accurate data into the computer

Providing support for the team members

Calling back clients with lab results, follow up on the appointments, etc.
