It's one of the largest specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the state, serving pets and their families throughout northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southern Michigan. NIVES has been providing exceptional specialty and emergency care for more than 20 years and is AAHA-accredited and the only VECCS Level II Certified veterinary critical care facility in Indiana.

In your day-to-day, you will:

As Medical Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing medical leadership and strategic direction for the hospital
  • Partnering with the Hospital Director to achieve operational excellence
  • Mentoring and developing a talented team of veterinarians
  • Leading medical quality assurance and continuing education initiatives
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention of exceptional clinicians
  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Maintaining a partial clinical caseload to remain actively involved in patient care

  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or medical management experience preferred

  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state of Indiana
