Position Summary
Veterinary Receptionists are often the first and last point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, organized, and able to remain calm while assisting clients during both routine visits and stressful emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
- Answer phones and assist clients with questions and concerns
- Schedule appointments and manage client information
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Process payments and prepare accurate estimates
- Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and hospital staff
- Maintain accurate client and patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service during routine and emergency visits
- Help maintain an organized and professional reception area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Veterinary or medical experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to handle emotional conversations with empathy and professionalism
Schedule
We are hiring for full-time and part-time opportunities. Our hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and candidates must have availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
