Along with a strong work-life balance, as a member of our team you’ll enjoy a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $100,000–$150,000 based on experience, plus bonus potential of up to $20,000, industry-leading health and dental benefits, RRSP matching, paid vacation, continuing education support, and more. Job Responsibilities
- Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
- Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
- Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols.
- Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
- Present a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.
- Work in a communicative and collaborative fashion that focuses on team success.
- Ideally two years of experience but open to new graduates.
Skills and Basic Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
