Responsibilities Include
Mountainwood Pet Hospital is a four doctor, general practice in Windsor, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and client service. We have an enthusiastic and friendly team of individuals who are genuinely interested in outstanding service and quality care for our clients and their pets.
Our hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Wednesday 9:00AM – 7:00PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
Full-Time Benefits Include

- Associate Degree (Preferred)
- Veterinary Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
- Base hourly rate of $20-24
- Eligible for periodic bonus (where applicable)
- Eligible for emergency technician pay (where applicable)

Responsibilities Include
- Assisting veterinarians in surgery and in exam rooms
- Performing dental cleanings
- Assisting with all surgical procedures
- Placing IV catheters
- Taking digital radiographs
- Performing diagnostic tests including in-house labs
- Collecting blood samples
- Filling prescriptions
- Communicating directly with clients via phone, text, and in person
- Answering a multi-line phone system
- Scheduling appointments and/or surgical procedures
- Greeting clients and patients in person and over the phone
- Checking patients in/out for surgical procedures
