About SAHO Animal Hospital

- Transitioned to a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital model in June 2025
- Large, collaborative team with many long-tenured employees (5–14 years)
- Currently growing through a major transition, including plans for a dedicated ICU wing
- Focused on developing team members and elevating skillsets across ER, ICU, and GP
ICU / ER Focus (Primary Need)
- Provide care for hospitalized and critical patients in a 24/7 veterinary hospital setting
- Assist with triage and intake of high-acuity emergency cases
- Monitor anesthesia and support emergency and surgical procedures
- Participate in daily rounds and ongoing ICU patient care
- Manage a wide range of cases, from moderate to critical
- Assist in exam rooms, urgent care appointments, and treatment areas
- Perform diagnostics, patient care, and client communication
- Support surgery and dental procedures outside of the ICU
- Opportunity to build or expand ER and ICU veterinary technician experience
- High-volume environment that supports rapid skill development

- Ability to make a meaningful impact during a key growth phase
- Veterinary Technician experience required
- ER or ICU experience strongly preferred; strong GP technicians with an interest in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Confidence handling urgent and critical cases
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong initiative
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
- Full-time preferred
- Day shift coverage between 6:45 AM and 12:00 AM
- Schedule will vary based on hospital needs
- 24/7 hospital environment
- $20–$23/hour starting rate, flexibility based on experience and skill level
