We are looking for a skilled and motivated Surgery Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with experienced doctors on both routine and advanced procedures. What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during general and advanced surgical procedures, including orthopedic surgery
- Confidently monitor patients under anesthesia using a variety of monitoring equipment
- Perform dental cleanings: dental radiographs, charting, scaling, and polishing
- Prepare patients for surgery and maintain sterile fields
- Support hospitalized surgical patients with postoperative care
- Participate in ongoing cross-training opportunities across multiple hospital departments
- A CVT or a veterinary technician with 1–2 years of surgery/anesthesia experience
- Interest and some experience in dentistry and dental radiology
- Confidence with anesthesia monitoring
- A strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused culture
- A technician who is eager to learn, grow, and expand their skills in advanced medicine
- Flexible scheduling: 4-day work week with rotating weekends
- Competitive pay: $20–$27/hour, with the potential for up to $30/hour for the right experienced CVT
