About The Role
We are looking for a career-driven, self-starting Veterinary Technician who thrives in a team-based culture and is comfortable working in all areas of the hospital. Surgical and anesthesia proficiency is required, as well as strong client education skills.
Responsibilities Include
- Surgical and anesthesia monitoring
- Dental cleanings and dental radiographs
- Client education and communication (explaining procedures, medications, and protocols)
- IVC placement, blood draws, radiology, and in-house labs
- Sending out diagnostics to external labs
- Understanding and applying Fear Free practices
- Following vaccination protocols
- CVT or 2 years of relevant technician experience
- Proficiency in surgery and anesthesia
- Strong communication and client education skills
- Team-oriented mindset – you value collaboration and culture
- A positive attitude and passion for veterinary medicine
- 4-day workweek with rotating Saturday shifts – enjoy an amazing work-life balance
- Hospital is closed on Sundays and holidays
- Boarding care is shared on a rotating schedule for Sundays & holiday shifts (schedule set annually in January – great for planning ahead!)
