Position Highlights
- Open to full-time or part-time candidates
- Experience required in a veterinary environment
- AVImark experience is HIGHLY preferred
- Change management or adaptability to new systems and processes is a plus
- Provide excellent, compassionate client service both in person and over the phone
- Greet clients, check patients in and out, and manage payment processing
- Answer multi-line phone calls, screen needs, and schedule appointments
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and email and other client communications
- Maintain a clean and organized client lobby
- Accurately document client information, communication notes, and other patient data
- Escalate complex or sensitive situations to senior staff when needed
- Collaborate closely with the team to support smooth patient flow and a positive client experience
- Veterinary reception experience required***
- AVImark experience strongly preferred***
- Ability to learn and understand basic veterinary concepts (vaccines, preventatives, common conditions)
- Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure
- Position available as full-time or part-time (minimum 20 hours per week)
- Pay is commensurate with experience
