What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) position at NVA General Practice?
We are currently accepting applicants for RVT(must be currently licensed or pending testing) for a full time position. We are looking for friendly, upbeat, responsible technicians for a busy, state of the art veterinary hospital in beautiful Belmont Shore area. At Belmont Shore Veterinary Hospital, we pride ourselves on the exceptional service we provide our clients and the excellent care their pets receive. We recognize that every client has distinct needs and financial considerations. Therefore, we make sure that every pet owner is educated on the full range of available treatment options in any situation, from the most advanced procedures to more cost-effective alternatives.
We are looking for team members that are enthusiastic, responsible, friendly, and have a great attitude. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting doctors with patient care, filling prescriptions, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, dental prophylaxis, dental x-rays, anesthesia monitoring and maintaining the treatment room. Please note this position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends.
Benefits include competetive pay from $25-$30 depending on experience, paid holidays and vacation, 401 K, health insurance, and in-hospital pet benefits. For RVT's, we also offer CE benefits which include paid time off to attend seminars.
