Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of veterinary technicians and assistants
- Manage technician and assistant schedules and workflow
- Conduct regular team check-ins and serve as a liaison between staff and leadership
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, urgent care cases, and advanced diagnostics
- Perform technical skills including anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, dentistry, and ultrasound
- Oversee patient care during hospitalization and ensure clear client communication
- Develop, implement, and refine clinical protocols and standard operating procedures
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional team environment
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient outcomes
- Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, or CVT) in Georgia required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong technical skills in surgery support, anesthesia, dental procedures, radiology, and laboratory work
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-doctor veterinary practice is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or urgent care environments
- Passion for mentorship, team development, and high-quality veterinary medicine
