What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate care and supervision for dogs and cats in both the hospital and resort.
- Feed, water, and walk animals based on their individual needs.
- Supervise dogs in play yards, ensuring safe and positive socialization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
- Monitor pets for signs of illness, stress, or behavioral changes and report concerns.
- Assist with bathing, nail trims, and basic grooming when needed.
- Safely handle animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with check-ins and check-outs.
- Previous experience in animal care, kennels, or a veterinary hospital is a plus, but training is provided.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats in a calm, confident, and compassionate way.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well within a team-focused environment.
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
