What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate care to patients throughout their visits.
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist with anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
- Collect samples, perform diagnostic testing, and assist with dental procedures and imaging.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by a veterinarian.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate patient updates.
- Educate clients about medications, preventive care, and home-care instructions.
- Help maintain a clean, organized hospital and follow patient safety protocols.
- Support teammates through clear communication, shared responsibilities, and a willingness to help.
- Current Missouri Registered Veterinary Technician credential.
- A commitment to patient safety and compassionate handling.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
- The ability to prioritize in a busy hospital while paying attention to the details.
- A professional, dependable approach and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
- Experience with anesthesia, dentistry, and diagnostics.
