Duties
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the appliance repair team, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostics and repairs
- Conduct complex major home appliance repairs including refrigeration
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills
- Coordinate with customers to schedule COD appointments, explain repair processes, and ensure exceptional service experiences
- Manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for field repairs, optimizing resource allocation
- Maintain detailed service records, including repair logs, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each job
Requirements
- At least 5 years Proven experience in major home appliance repair with COD service contracts, strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration technology
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
- Prior experience as a service technician or in field service roles involving major home repair appliances
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience operating box trucks or similar delivery vehicles; delivery driver experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly, equipment repair, and electrical experience
- Strong leadership skills to guide a team effectively while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship
