We have an opportunity for a talented & ambitious Sr. Engineer with Overhead (OH) Transmission Line experience to join us as our new Technical Manager - Transmission Line Engineering based in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) region. Preferably in Oregon or Washington. Y ou will play a pivotal role in establishing relationships that go beyond the realm of the project at hand.
You will work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of transmission line and related civil engineering problems involving overhead power lines and substations.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as the responsible engineer and client point of contact for power delivery projects.
- Increase the volume of overhead line work with existing clients.
- Assist in marketing and promotion efforts to add new regional clients.
- Prepare, review, and P.E. seal technical calculation reports and construction documents meeting client and NV5 requirements.
- Develop your career via peer-learning through sharing of knowledge with other experienced engineers and train and mentor junior staff.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
- Mentor junior staff.
We are seeking the following experience:
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering or related engineering degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program is required.
- M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred.
- 10 of progressive experience in the civil-structural engineering field is desired.
- Overhead (OH) Transmission Line design experience with PLS-CADD is preferred.
- Other structural design experience (i.e. Bridges, Buildings) encouraged to apply.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) registration in the states of OR and WA, or AZ is desired, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date.
