NV5 Geospatial is actively recruiting a Knowledge Manager. Strong capabilities in managing research question tracking, metadata governance, data discoverability, and report dissemination are required. The Knowledge Manager will be based at US Army Garrison Miami/US Southern Command. US citizenship, along with the ability to successfully pass a basic background check for access to US military bases, is required for employment. The successful candidate will have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain metadata management processes, ensuing that research findings, geospatial layers, and analytical outputs are cataloged and discoverable using Unity Catalog/OpenLineage.
- Track research questions, ensure metadata compliance, and manage data discoverability workflows to facilitate knowledge-sharing across agencies.
- Develop SOPs for research documentation, ensuring compliance with geospatial intelligence methodologies and DoD metadata standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in knowledge management.
- Demonstrated experience metadata management frameworks, knowledge graph integration, and structured data cataloging to ensure research findings are aligned with DoD/IC tradecraft standards.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to structure research inquiries, develop tagging and classification schemes, and ensure seamless integration of research products into structured dashboards.
- Expertise in Databricks Unity Catalog, OpenLineage, Esri metadata APIs, and data governance best practices.
- Ability to manage and prioritize complex project tasks.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional (DGSP), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- Portuguese or Spanish language skills.
- Experience with government IT programs and environments.
- Active TS/SCI
