Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and preparation of civil site development plans, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility layouts
- Develop and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD; utilize Civil 3D for surfaces, alignments, and corridors where applicable
- Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity takeoffs
- Support preparation of construction documents, technical reports, and permit submittals
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external agencies under guidance of senior staff
- Conduct site visits, field observations, and assist with construction support tasks as needed
- Ensure work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1–4 years of civil engineering experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of basic civil engineering principles
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with Civil Site Development projects
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain
- Exposure to local grading, drainage, and stormwater standards
