Production Operations Manager – Commercial Roofing
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Production Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day production flow of our commercial roofing projects.
This is a primarily office-based role focused on managing scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and job readiness — ensuring projects are set up for success before they begin and run efficiently throughout execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage production scheduling across multiple commercial roofing projects
- Coordinate and assign subcontractors and crews based on project needs and capacity
- Review scopes, labor plans, and material orders to ensure job readiness prior to start
- Serve as the bridge between estimating, project management, and field operations
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks proactively
- Ensure all jobs are properly set up with materials, equipment, permits, and documentation
- Support Project Managers by maintaining strong operational flow and accountability
- Continuously improve internal processes to drive efficiency and consistency
- Manages project budgets along with the project management team
What You Bring
- 3–7 years of experience in construction, roofing, or production/operations management
- Strong understanding of scheduling, logistics, and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to read and interpret scopes, plans, and construction documents
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive problem solver who can operate independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
- Experience in commercial roofing is a strong plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
