Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in the Arkansas area, responsible for daily coordination and oversight of construction activities. This role manages field operations, including supervising crews and subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. The superintendent enforces safety standards, conducts regular site inspections, and ensures compliance with building codes and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans, coordinating materials and equipment deliveries, tracking costs and budget impacts, and communicating with project managers, trade partners, and clients. The role also requires documenting site activities, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a professional and organized job site environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Construction Site Management, including supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, and managing daily field operations.
- Strong foundation in Construction Safety, with experience implementing safety plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Excellent Organization Skills, with the ability to manage schedules, documentation, and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Budgeting and cost tracking, supporting project managers in monitoring expenses and controlling project financials.
- Proficiency in Project Management principles, including scheduling, sequencing work, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet milestones.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with trades, suppliers, inspectors, and clients.
