Accountant
Scope or Work:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 250 employees
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform daily cash analysis and monthly reconciliations
- Oversee Affordable Care Act (ACA) payroll-related compliance
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve invoice issues
- Prepare general ledger transactions and financial reports
- Support budget reviews, grant compliance checks, and internal audits
- Handle general clerical duties and represent accounting in cross-department communication
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field, such as Finance or Business Administration, with an Accounting emphasis, that includes at least (24) credit hours in Accounting from an accredited institution
- At least (1) year of direct accounting experience
- Full-cycle payroll experience for (50) or more employees using electronic systems
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Affordable Care Act (ACA), and accounting best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with automated accounting/payroll software
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current liability insurance
Salary : $60,000 - $72,000
