Overview
Nuwave Laser is seeking a technically proficient and detail-driven Laser Cleaning Machine Technician to support the setup, maintenance, and repair of advanced laser cleaning systems. This position ensures high system uptime and top-tier customer satisfaction through hands-on technical work and limited field support. You will serve as a key part of our service team, playing a vital role in post-sale support and long-term equipment performance.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor laser equipment to ensure optimal performance during production processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on laser systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality control checks on laser outputs to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to laser operations promptly.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and enhance system capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and production outputs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while operating laser machinery.
Requirements
- Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in electronics, mechatronics, optics, or industrial equipment repair.
- 2 years in field service or technical repair of industrial equipment (laser, CNC, robotics, or similar).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
- Familiarity with optics or laser technology fundamentals.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 20%.
Preferred:
- Experience with Class 4 laser systems and laser safety training.
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation or control systems.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
