What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fulfilment Technician position at Nuvo Solutions, Inc.?
Who We Are
At Nuvo Solutions, we manage wireless devices, fleet tracking, and mobile expenses for field service businesses so they can focus on running their companies.
We are casual, highly collaborative, and deeply proud of our team culture. To be absolutely clear, we are a high-performing team; a group of dedicated professionals who come together to work hard, support each other, hit our targets, and go home. We value individual performance, mutual respect, a drama-free environment, and relentless personal growth.
Our Core Values define who we are:
- Be Accountable: Own your workstation, your output, and your mistakes.
- Always Deliver Quality: Outgoing orders are a reflection of our brand. Double-check everything.
- Always Be Courteous: Professionalism is non-negotiable across all internal and external communication.
- Be Tenacious: When high-volume days get tough, we dig in and get the job done.
- Serve Others First: Focus on preparing devices perfectly so our clients have a seamless experience from the moment they open the box.
- Be Socially Responsible: Mind our footprint, reduce waste in the warehouse, and give back.
- Grow or Die Mentality: Complacency is the enemy. We want people looking to sharpen their technical and operational skills daily.
The Immediate Reality (Why We Need You)
Our client base is expanding rapidly, and the equipment we ship is the lifeblood of their daily field operations. On Day One, your fires are clear: we need someone who can immediately step in to stage, kit, and configure mobile devices to strict client specifications. You will be responsible for installing Mobile Device Management (MDM) software, ensuring absolute quality control for every item leaving our facility, and physically building, packing, and preparing boxes for shipment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Device Staging & Kitting: Unbox, configure, and prep smartphones, tablets, and hardware assets based on customized client profiles.
- Software Deployment: Install, test, and troubleshoot Mobile Device Management (MDM) software on various mobile operating systems to ensure they are deployment-ready.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks on all outgoing packages to guarantee 100% accuracy in hardware, accessories, and software configurations.
- Warehouse Operations: Physically build boxes, pack hardware safely, generate shipping labels, and organize inventory to keep the fulfillment area running efficiently.
- Data & Documentation: Utilize Zoho One and Google Workspace daily to log serial numbers, update shipment statuses, and track inventory metrics.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 90 days: Success means you have developed a strong foundational understanding of Nuvo's product lines and service offerings. You have mastered our staging protocols, can efficiently configure mobile devices to specific client requirements without guidance, and fully grasp the rhythm of our day-to-day warehouse and fulfillment operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Location: Ability to work 100% on-site at our operations center in Clayton, NC.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with mobile hardware (iOS, Android) and eager to master Mobile Device Management (MDM) applications. Familiarity with Google Workspace or CRM environments (like Zoho) is a major plus.
- Detail-Oriented & Precise: High attention to detail; you are someone who naturally catches missing accessories or software glitches before a box is sealed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive kitting tasks, and comfortably lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs throughout the day.
- Punctual & Reliable: You show up ready to work, respect your teammates' time, and take pride in an honest day’s work.
