What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set-Up Technician position at Nuvo Packaging?
We are looking for an experienced Set-Up Technician to join our plastics manufacturing team in Columbus, Ohio.
The Set-Up Technician will be responsible for setting up and adjusting thermoforming machines for production. This includes changing molds and tooling, adjusting machine settings, starting production runs, and making adjustments to ensure quality products are produced efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have experience with thermoforming equipment or similar plastics manufacturing machinery. Mechanical ability, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail are important for this position.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and working closely with operators, maintenance, quality, and production teams.
Previous experience with thermoforming, mold changes, plastic processing, temperature controls, vacuum forming, or similar equipment is preferred. Experience setting up other types of plastics manufacturing equipment will also be considered.
Pay: $25.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
