Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Support
- Lead, train, and support Kitting Associates to ensure productivity and quality standards are consistently met.
- Serve as the first point of contact for team questions, guidance, and issue resolution.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
- Assist new hires with training, certifications and work instructions.
Production & Workflow Oversight
- Coordinate daily kitting activities to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and proper resource utilization.
- Step in as needed to assist with kitting, assembly, and warehouse tasks.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all kits are assembled accurately and meet company quality standards.
- Partner with the Quality team to identify, report, and quarantine damaged or non-conforming products.
- Enforce adherence to all safety protocols, procedures, and company policies.
Inventory & Reporting
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or material needs.
- Ensure accurate documentation of completed work in tracking systems.
- Report production metrics, issues, and progress updates to supervisors.
Operational Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support cross-functional teams including Shipping & Receiving when needed.
- Be available to work at Nuvia’s Draper warehouse as required by business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, production, or kitting operations.
- Prior leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred (informal leadership experience acceptable).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and training materials.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, scanning systems, inventory tools).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30–40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with inventory management systems or warehouse software.
- Experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse setting with a strong focus on teamwork and efficiency.
- Hands-on role requiring physical activity and leadership presence on the floor.
