Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Opening – Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City) Nuvance Health is seeking a FULL TIME Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Danbury, CT (60 miles from New York City). Our busy practice includes 3 physicians and 1 physician assistant. This is a great opportunity to work with renowned and highly respected physicians in their field. You will conduct office evaluations, consults and procedures (such as sclerotherapy) and work independently with your own patient panel. The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Surgical and/or Vascular Surgery experience preferred. Our Vascular Surgery practice is located minutes from the Danbury Hospital Campus. Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area resident’s convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Nuvance Health Medical Practice has over 1,000 employed providers. Job Requirements: This position requires a minimum formal education of Master Degree, State of CT RN and APRN license, or Bachelor Degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant (PA) school and CT State Physician Assistant license and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). CT Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration Strong Interpersonal and communication skills. Surgical or Vascular Surgery experience preferred.
