What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuuly Merchandise Planner position at Nuuly?
Overview
Maximize subscription revenue by creating a sound merchandise and assortment plan for rentals, purchases and removals, for one or more classes, that support nuuly’s goals for turn and in-stock.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensuring the success of one or more classes by meeting or exceeding rentals, receipt AUC, and inventory turn
- Partnering with buying team to monitor and evaluate utilization and productivity of carryover and new choices on a weekly basis
- Collaborating with planning and buying team to identify any business opportunities
- Partnering with buying and manager of planning to effectively manage receipt cost and inventory turn
- Clearly communicating and providing reporting and analysis to highlight important trends and/or support key initiatives
- Utilizing the OTB process to drive business
- Building strong partnerships thru constant communication and collaboration with the planning and buying teams
- Taking data science and buying direction and interpreting it into a profitable strategy
Qualifications
- 4 year’s experience in Merchandise Planning in a retail environment
- Experience in start-up environment a plus
