Role Responsibilities
- Receiving and sorting customer returns.
- Processing returned laundry or dry cleaning.
- Preparing clothes for inspection i.e. repairs or spotting.
- Picking and putting away laundered items for future orders.
- Packing clothing for customer orders.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance standards.
- Work respectfully in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by operational leadership.
Role Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school degree or GED is preferred
- Experience in warehousing or manufacturing is a plus
- Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards
- Able to operate department-specific technology to execute job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens
- Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required
- Stand and walk t hroughout a shift
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
- Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position ( i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements
