Role Responsibilities
- Strategic Support & Analysis: Uses planning tools and systems to assist in decision-making, interpret reporting, and communicate findings effectively.
- Business Execution & Problem-Solving: Supports business recommendations, helps resolve challenges, and applies analytical insights to improve processes.
- Process & Ownership: Tracks key metrics, collaborates with the buying team on weekly evaluations, and applies data-driven insights to enhance strategies.
- Collaboration & Communication: Builds strong working relationships with buying and planning teams, engages with senior leaders, and contributes positively to team processes.
- Growth & Development: Takes initiative in learning industry best practices, seeks mentorship, and supports team goals while developing professional skills
- 2.5 years of experience in Merchandise Planning in a retail environment
- Experience in start-up environment a plus
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Results oriented

- Problem-solving skills to anticipate problems before they happen and handle them appropriately when they do
- Exceptional communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong data warehouse skills (EDW, Looker, Island Pacific)
