We’re looking for an Electrical Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team and support the the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for industrial and infrastructure electrical projects. This role plays a key part in winning work and setting projects up for successful execution through clear scope definition, sound pricing, and strong coordination across teams.

We’re looking for an Electrical Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team and support the the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for industrial and infrastructure electrical projects. This role plays a key part in winning work and setting projects up for successful execution through clear scope definition, sound pricing, and strong coordination across teams.
What You’ll Do
- Develop full-scope electrical estimates for industrial and DOT projects across multiple levels of construction documents
- Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and addenda to fully understand project requirements and identify risk
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing using Accubid
- Develop unit pricing and assemble complete estimate backups
- Solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor pricing to ensure full scope coverage
- Prepare clear scope narratives and proposal sheets defining inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions
- Participate in constructability reviews and alternate pricing discussions
- Support bid reviews, clarifications, and post-bid analysis
- Maintain organized estimate files, bid logs, and documentation
- Collaborate closely with project managers and operations to support a smooth handoff from estimating to execution
- Strong proficiency with Accubid (required)
- 5 years of experience in electrical estimating or a related construction field
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and construction documentation
- Experience developing full-scope electrical estimates from drawings and specifications
- Ability to interpret complex construction documents and identify scope gaps
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related estimating tools
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Have a team-first mindset and value collaboration
