Position Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and organized Host/Hostess to join our team! This role is essential in creating a welcoming first impression for our guests while helping ensure the restaurant operates smoothly during busy service times. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Manage wait lists and seat guests in an efficient and organized manner
- Maintain awareness of table availability and communicate with servers to ensure a smooth service flow
- Bus and reset tables quickly to keep seating moving during busy periods
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Take accurate to-go orders and communicate them to the kitchen or bar staff
- Provide guests with menus and silverware
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
- Assist team members as needed to ensure a positive guest experience
Qualifications:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced enviroment
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy shifts
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry bus tubs and move quickly throughout restaurant
