Duties
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Lead, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products
- Implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping
- Conduct employee orientation and training programs for new hires
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Monitor store performance metrics
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns effectively
Skills
- Proficient in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development processes
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions
- Experience in inventory management, and retail math
- Proven track record in retail sales management and shift management
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team towards success
- Solid understanding of merchandising principles and pricing strategies
- Excellent communication skills with strong phone etiquette
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures
