Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing dietary plans, and providing nutrition counseling to promote overall health and well-being.
This may include but are not limited to diabetes education, weight management, cardiovascular disease, renal disease, malnutrition/weight gain, infants with failure to thrive, cancer and nutrition therapy, gastrointestinal disorders and nutrition therapy, bariatric surgery, food allergies, sports nutrition or healthy diet. The Out-Patient Dietitian may also be required to assess/evaluate out-patients receiving home tube feedings.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized meal plans based on patients' health needs.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients on healthy eating habits.
- Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to dietary plans as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in nutrition and dietary guidelines.
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations related to nutrition.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and how nutrients impact the body.
- Ability to assess patients' nutritional status and develop appropriate interventions.
- Experience with tube feeding and other specialized nutritional therapies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective health coaching and patient education.
- Must be currently a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetics Registration/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
