What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nutritionist position at Nutrition & Health Center, Inc.?
The Nutrition & Health Center is searching for a Clinical Nutritionist for the office in Marlboro, NJ to work on a part-time position.
Responsibilities:
Provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with the patient's medical goals;
Evaluate, interpret, monitor, and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs of patients using established standards of care and practice guidelines;
Identify and provide age-specific nutrition counseling to meet the cultural needs of the patients and their families;
Create notes and keep proper charts of patient visits and progress using EMR systems;
Utilize clinical software programs to facilitate nutrition therapy (Nutritionist Pro, bioimpedance body composition test, resting metabolic rate test, etc.);
Provide the information for each patient to perform necessary coding, billing, and EMR services;
Scheduling and attending meetings out of the office, if necessary;
Coordinate with local healthcare providers;
Maintain current credentials and have valid personal malpractice insurance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree;
Clinical nutritionist license/certificate;
Spanish or Russian are a MUST;
Fluency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, EMR, etc.
