Nutrition Bar Confectioners is located in Cato, NY and is a family owned producer of various nutrition bars now in it's third generation. We are currently looking for an entry level production associate to help with our growing business needs. Hours are typically Monday-Friday, All Shifts needed (adjusted to meet business needs). Job Summary:
Aid in the efficient, safe and quality production of various nutrition bars.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform job responsibilities according to job specifications
- Work efficiently, safely and accurately
- Ensure that all equipment, machinery, and utensils used are clean, free of debris, and in good condition before beginning.
- Communicate any stoppages in the line
- Helps with any rework
- Keep area neat and organized
- May be required to operate some machinery
- May be placed in any of the following positions:
- Slab Line Associate:
- Ensure that product is continuously fed onto the slab line and that there are no holes, gaps, or stoppages
- Sorters:
- Feeds bars onto conveyer to be wrapped, strips badly wrapped bars and reloads onto conveyers, and maintains overflow during stoppages by stacking bars onto trays to be wrapped with the line starts back up
- Packing:
- Ensures that quality bars are packaged into cartons according to job specifications
- Palletizer:
- Removes cases of finished product from conveyer to be palletized according to job specifications and communicates when pallets are finished
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Able to work productively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate

- Able to follow directions and job specifications and follow procedures
