Call Center Representative – Nutrination Job Overview
Nutrination is seeking a compassionate and mission-driven Call Center Representative to support individuals and communities in accessing nutrition, health, and social resources. In this role, you will serve as a key point of connection, providing clear, empathetic guidance while upholding the highest standards of privacy and professionalism. Your work will directly contribute to improving health outcomes and advancing nutrition equity.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and assist individuals with accessing nutrition, health, and community services
- Provide clear, compassionate support and guide callers to the appropriate resources
- Schedule appointments and help individuals navigate basic processes
- Accurately document all interactions in internal systems
- Communicate effectively with diverse communities, including across languages when applicable
- Collaborate with team members and partner organizations to coordinate care and services
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA Privacy and Medicaid Privacy Requirements
Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual skills REQUIRED (Reading, writing and speaking)
- Confident phone voice required
- Experience in healthcare, public health, social services, or community programs is a plus
- CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE is a major plus!
- Basic knowledge of health, nutrition, or medical terminology is helpful but not required
- Strong communication skills—clear, professional, and empathetic
- Comfortable using computers and internal systems for documentation
- Commitment to protecting client privacy and following HIPAA and Medicaid Privacy Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and ability to solve problems efficiently
