Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate dietary habits and nutritional needs.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient requirements.
- Supervise the implementation of dietary plans, ensuring adherence to recommended guidelines.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding nutrition, including tube feeding when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into overall patient care strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest research in dietetics and physiology to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Monitor and adjust dietary plans as needed based on patient progress and feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, dietary plans, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition and health management.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods.
