Our approach combines medical management, nutrition, fitness, behavioral support, and pharmacotherapy to provide patients with individualized care. We are expanding our provider team and are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Lewes, DE office!
Position: Nurse Practitioner
As a NP at NutriHealth, you will provide comprehensive care to patients working toward their weight-management and overall health goals. You will have to opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients while working alongside a great team!
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available!
Pay: starting at $120,000/year, based on schedule and experience
Responsibilities in four key areas:
Nutrition Planning:
- Collaborate with dietitians to create comprehensive nutrition plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
- Provide ongoing support and education on healthy eating habits.
Fitness Integration:
- Incorporate fitness and exercise recommendations into patient treatment plans.
- Work closely with patients to set realistic fitness goals and monitor progress.
Behavior Therapy:
- Implement behavior therapy techniques to address emotional and behavioral factors contributing to obesity.
- Provide support to help patients overcome challenges in their weight loss journey.
Pharmacotherapy:
- Prescribe medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, monitoring patient responses and adjusting medications as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in weight management, obesity treatment, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a healthcare team.
- Strong interest in helping patients achieve sustainable, long-term health improvements.
Schedule:
Full-time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm, Tuesday: 8am - 6pm, Friday: 8am - 2:30pm
Part-Time: Schedule is flexible and can be discussed based on provider availability and clinic needs!
Monday-Friday, no weekends.
