QC Lab Technician
Responsible for quality testing on any raw material, intermediate, and final products as required for the production department of an adhesive manufacturing facility including utilizing and maintaining various analytical methods and instrumentation.

Responsible for plant quality analysis support including pH meter calibrations

Support operations to confirm following lab SOPs and processes

Ensure critical lab materials for physical analysis are in stock and manage inventory

Ensure lab hygiene and cleanliness including audit reports for personnel that use lab equipment

Perform standard physical lab testing without supervision

Perform performance testing with supervision

Maintain data management system by entering results in SAP and/or Minitab

Maintain document management system by ensuring documentation is scanned or filed properly
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or other equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial related field, preferably chemical manufacturing laboratory environment.

Proficient with ISO and QMS procedures and nationally recognized standards

Very strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and supervisory skills, and teamwork facilitation skills

High problem solving and analytical ability, accuracy and attention to detail, training of process operators regarding procedure and consistency, high level of confidence.

SPC/SQC knowledge and experience.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and technical writing.

Experience with Minitab
-
General awareness of GMP
-
Ability to stand for multiple hours and lift ≤ 25 lbs
