What You'll Do:
- Formulate and blend batches using computerized HMI/PLC system as well as manual blends
- Follow production tickets to mix and react raw materials resulting in finished products
- Comply with plant policies and safety procedures
- Assist in formulation of each batch of product
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Ensure there are no unlabeled containers in work area of any type
- Cleaning
- Assist all plant personnel in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency throughout plant
- Assist formulator in monitoring inventory
- Other duties as required
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically and medically capable of wearing a respirator
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work with and understand computerized control screens
- Ability to multitask/formulate across multiple vessels and reactions
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Ability to lift 50lbs frequently during entire shift
- Ability to handle 500lbs drums occasionally
- Good manual dexterity and good vision & hearing
- Ability to stoop & bend frequently
- Ability to move & be in a stationary position during entire shift
