Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality Green Shakes, Acai Bowls and other beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of healthy beverages, Acai Bowls, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate our POS system for cash handling and processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of Fruits, Almond milk, cups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Demonstrate knowledge of our healthy juice bar items / options and educate customers about different types of coffee.
- Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and preparation.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- A genuine interest in health, fitness and vitamin culture and willingness to learn more about what we offer is highly valued.
