Schedule: Mon-Thurs: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Fri: 8 am – 2 pm

Pay Rate: $70,000-$80,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced bilingual (Spanish/English) Training Specialist to design, deliver, and manage training programs focused on production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality regulations, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards. This role ensures that all production and quality personnel — including Spanish-speaking team members — are properly trained, compliant, and equipped to maintain the highest standards of product quality and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and deliver training programs covering production SOPs, cGMP guidelines, and quality regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.) in both English and Spanish
• Conduct new-hire orientation and ongoing training for production, quality, and manufacturing staff, ensuring comprehension across language groups
• Conduct monthly on-floor assessments and audits to evaluate employee adherence to SOPs, cGMP standards, and safety/quality protocols
• Document audit findings, identify trends or recurring gaps, and develop corrective/retraining action plans in partnership with Quality and Production leadership
• Translate and localize training materials, manuals, presentations, and assessments into Spanish as needed
• Partner with Quality Assurance and Operations teams to identify training needs and close compliance gaps
• Facilitate hands-on floor training and classroom-based instruction on proper documentation, batch record practices, and deviation handling, adapting delivery for Spanish-speaking employees
• Track and document employee training records to ensure audit-readiness and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback; revise programs as needed
• Stay current on evolving FDA/cGMP regulations and industry best practices, updating training content accordingly
• Support internal and external audits by providing training documentation and evidence of compliance
• Coach and mentor employees on proper SOP adherence and quality culture, bridging language and cultural gaps on the production floor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Quality Assurance, Education, or related) preferred
• Fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) required
• 3 years of experience in corporate training, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food manufacturing industries
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality management systems
• Experience developing and facilitating both in-person and virtual training programs in multiple languages
• Excellent presentation, communication, and instructional design skills
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training documentation practices
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Regulatory teams

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) or similar
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
