Nussbaum Group is searching for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Project Manager to oversee the year-round maintenance of the most exceptional landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. The Landscape Maintenance Project Manager is responsible for collaborating with the Maintenance Team Lead and team members who are working on the landscapes to ensure that the landscapes thrive. Project Managers are the main point of contact for the Client and are responsible for all communication with both the Client and with the Team Members in the field. They are also responsible for coordination with the Landscape Construction teams to ensure a smooth transition from landscape construction to landscape maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of Landscape Maintenance projects.
  • Prepares, presents, and tracks budgets for maintenance projects.
  • Communicates with clients, design team members, and subcontractors as well as Team Members in the field.
  • Provides horticulture expertise, including plant knowledge and IPM, to the team and clients.
  • Actively participates in horticulture, equipment, and safety training of field staff.
  • Seeks solutions to steward our landscapes as they mature and change.
  • Coordinates with Landscape Construction Teams to experience our sites as we build them and to transition the sites to

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a landscape professional. A landscape related degree a plus.
  • 3 years of client service experience within the landscape industry.
  • Estate gardening experience a plus.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel. Smartsheet knowledge a plus.
  • Basic irrigation knowledge required.
  • Strong knowledge of organic horticulture practices.
  • Strong ability to read plan sets and specifications, as well as the ability to quickly sketch details for clarification and review.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Committed to organic maintenance practices.
  • Valid WA driver license.
  • Certified professional horticulturalist (CPH) is a plus.

Please note: Any offer of employment will be dependent upon the ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the U.S.; and to pass both a background check and drug test.

Pay range: $80,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience

Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
