Job Summary:
A Sr. Product Development Scientist is responsible for the design and development of new products and improvements to the existing NuSmile product. The Scientist uses their technical knowledge and their understanding of the clinical applications for NuSmile products and competitive products, as well as the company’s core technology platforms, working closely with the Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to bring new products to market.
Requirements:
Education
- Master's Chemistry with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or PhD with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Undergraduate Degree in Chemical, Materials Science, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or similar scientific discipline.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience in design, development and commercialization of medical devices along with experience with Design Control, GLP/GMP, FDA and ISO regulations.
- Demonstrated history of technical creativity in medical device product development leading to successful commercialization.
- Excellent communications skills. Ability to listen and clearly communicate verbally, in writing and in person to people at various levels of the organization.
- Effectively prioritizes and multitasks at a high level in a high energy fast-paced environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products such as Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point or equivalent software applications.
