We are currently seeking a Part-Time Teller to join our Enchanted Hills Branch who can work Flat 30 hours per week with open availability and flexibility, Monday-Saturday.
If you are looking for an opportunity to join our team, our Teller role might be right for you. As a Teller at Nusenda, you are the member’s first point of contact. You will be a trusted financial resource to existing and potential members by assisting with routine financial transactions at an exceptional service level. You will use a consultative approach to evaluate, educate, and fulfill member financial needs, referring members to specialized departments when necessary.
What You'll Do
- Processes member financial transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Financial transactions include, but are not limited to, cash, negotiable instruments, account transfers, and loan/credit card payments.
- Assists members by assessing needs and educating on available products utilizing a needs-based sales approach and refers members to specialized departments as needed.
- Assist in a variety of tasks to ensure efficient office operations including opening and closing procedures.
- Operate as a vault teller and is responsible for vault cash duties including cash ordering.
- Assist management with training and development of new and existing tellers.
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
- Previous banking experience preferred.
- Equivalent to a high school education.
- Advance knowledge of service delivery operations.
- Accuracy in numbers, procedural detail, processing and balancing negotiable instruments.
- Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
