We are currently seeking a Vice President Corporate Treasurer to join our organization. As the VP Corporate Treasurer, you'll lead the Corporate Treasury function for the Credit Union, providing strategic financial leadership over asset liability management, interest rate risk, liquidity forecasting, funding strategy, investment portfolio management, subordinated debt strategies, and balance sheet risk management. You'll collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on strategic financial objectives, and be responsible for developing and maintaining treasury practices that support capital strength, liquidity resilience, earnings stability, and sound risk decisions. Additionally, you'll administer the Credit Union’s Asset Liability Management (ALM) and interest rate risk processes.

What You'll Do: 

  • Administer the Credit Union's asset liability management and interest rate risk processes, including balance sheet modeling, scenario analysis, assumption development, stress testing, governance, and ALCO reporting.
  • Responsible for quarterly and ad hoc ALM modeling, net interest income and economic value scenario analysis, assumption development, model governance, sensitivity testing, and review of key balance sheet risks.
  • Develop recommendations related to rate positioning, deposit strategy, loan growth, funding mix, investment strategy, capital utilization, and balance sheet structure.
  • Prepare and present management ALCO materials and support the CFO in preparing Board ALCO and Board-level reporting and discussions.
  • Utilize ALM modeling systems and supporting financial data to perform analysis, scenario modeling, and management reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance liquidity forecasting, cash flow management, and funding strategy using liquidity models, core and general ledger data, collateral reports, borrowing capacity reporting, stress testing, and cashflow forecasting tools.
  • Develop and present short-term and long-term liquidity forecasts, contingency funding plan inputs, wholesale funding strategies, pledging and collateral availability, brokered deposit usage, and cash position reporting.
  • Perform liquidity stress testing, monitors liquidity risk indicators, and develop recommendations to ensure the Credit Union maintains adequate liquidity under normal, stressed, and strategic growth scenarios. Utilizes liquidity models, cash flow reporting, collateral reporting, and borrowing capacity monitoring tools to support liquidity forecasting and decision-making.

What You'll Need

  • Eight years to ten years of similar or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with executive leadership, Board committees, regulators, auditors, and external business partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems used to support treasury, ALM, investment, and reporting activities.
  • Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information, and handle problem resolution.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of treasury, asset liability management, liquidity risk, investments, funding strategies, capital planning, and related regulatory expectations within a financial institution.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex balance sheet and risk management issues and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems commonly used to support treasury, ALM, investments, reporting, and liquidity management.
  • Experience within a financial institution and exposure to executive-level reporting, regulatory examinations, audits, and Board-level reporting preferred.
