Preschool Teacher (Full-Time) – Nurtury Preschool, MoragaWork Schedule Options

· 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

· 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

About Nurtury Preschool

· Located on the campus of Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church, Nurtury Preschool is a Christian, state-licensed, play-based program serving children ages 2 through kindergarten.

· We operate Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, follow the Moraga School District calendar, and offer optional summer camp programs. Paid holidays and optional summer work are available.

Position Details

· Title: Preschool Teacher

· Start Date: Immediate

· Pay: $26.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on ECE units & experience)

· Location: Moraga, CA

· Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

· Support classrooms across age levels as needed.

· Create a nurturing, engaging environment for children ages 2–5.

· Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based activities.

· Ensure health, safety, and well-being of students.

· Maintain accurate records (attendance, assessments).

· Use positive classroom management techniques.

· Communicate professionally and collaborate with colleagues.

· Comply with Community Care Licensing (Title 22) regulations.

Minimum Requirements

· 12 ECE core units (required) – per California Title 22 regulations.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· 1 years of experience in a childcare center (preferred).

· Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).

· CPR & First Aid certification (preferred).

· Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Negative TB test and criminal background clearance.
