Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions with children, adolescents, and adults
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and treatment goals
- Provide specialized therapy services for individuals with differing needs and developmental abilities
- Implement behavior management techniques and strategies that follow the need of the child and family to optimize positive change
- Utilize play-based, art-based, creative/expressive, movement, and cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches to address emotional and behavioral issues
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educators, child welfare professionals, and medical providers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Valid license or certification as LMSW, LLP, LPC, LLMSW, TLPC or equivalent
- Desire to learn and practice state-of-the-art, neuroceptive/polyvagal strategies delivered in an age-appropriate manner to children, teens, and adults.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Ability to provide trauma-informed care for clients with PTSD or other trauma-related issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $50.00 per hour
